Olivia E. Fuente Illustration
Olivia was born into a family of artists and as a child drew on vacuum cleaners, dishwasher tops, walls and any surface her tiny hands could reach. This led to more complex art exploration involving various media.

Olivia graduated from the California College of the Arts (CCA) in 2002 with a BFA in Illustration. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally including: Tokyo and Fukuoka, Japan, Rome, Italy, Melbourne, Australia, Christchurch, New Zealand, across Canada (via the BookMobile) and across the U.S.

Her illustrations have also appeared in national and international magazines, on CD covers, theater production posters, brochures, on textile garments, and other alternative publications.

She has lived in fourteen different cities and traveled extensively through thirteen countries. Her experiences with the various lands, languages and cultures continue to inspire her work.

Olivia creates layered compositions with a whimsical flair, a visual poetry with a powerfully emotive message. The process of making art is a joyful one for her. This is expressed through her work, and she aims to establish a relationship between the viewer’s heart and her illustrations.

A reviewer for Lost at E-Minor, a weekly newsletter that showcases music, fashion, design, and illustration from Australia and beyond wrote: “Her work is a beautiful collection of every dream you’ve ever had.”
